Hatchery Maintenance Mechanic Level C

Job Description

Salary: $15.00 - $16.10hr

Maintain and/or repair/replace parts on incubators, hatchers, and equipment in the Service Room (i.e., boxes, conveyor belts).
Perform incubator checks and other preventative maintenance.

Perform work on special projects such as welding, electrical work, etc.

Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to being the relief for other hatchery operations.

Qualifications

Prior Maintenance experience preferred.
Must be able to perform basic maintenance work.
Must have basic electrical knowledge.
Ability to pass the hatchery Maintenance C test.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
Must have basic math skills.
Must be able to lift and move 50lbs.
Must be able to move 1500-pound egg racks (on wheels).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
